The Course
Economics and Management (E&M) examines issues central to the world we live and work in: how economies and organisations function, and how resources are allocated and coordinated to achieve objectives. It is a rigorous academic degree, developing high-level quantitative and qualitative skills in a vocationally-relevant subject area. Students are in strong demand from employers: graduates enter a wide range of careers, from banking and consulting to policy research and academia.
Students benefit from the excellent facilities of the Saïd Business School, providing many opportunities to engage with post-experience students and the world of practice: see
Why °ÅÀÖ¶ÌÊÓƵ?
°ÅÀÖ¶ÌÊÓƵ offers just three places in Economics and Management per year, so each student gets individual attention. At the same time, students are closely integrated with students on the College's Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE) degree and they participate fully in the College community. The College facilitates interaction with both E&M alumni and MBA (graduate) students, for instance via an annual dinner.
